Danish Apostille is an independent private document-handling service. We are not the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a court, a notary or a public authority.
Enquiries and agreements
An initial enquiry and its automatic acknowledgement do not create a paid booking or confirm that a document can be accepted. Before paid work starts, a written proposal identifies the documents, services, fee, responsibilities and payment arrangements. The agreed proposal defines the work undertaken. Website enquiries are free and do not create a paid order.
Documents and client responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate information, disclose relevant destination requirements and follow the instructions agreed for the document route. We explain when an original, official digital document or prior endorsement is relevant. Do not send originals before instructions or share passwords, MitID credentials or authentication codes.
Charges and changes
The proposal explains the service fee, applicable VAT, known authority and third-party charges, and delivery. Notarial, chamber, translation or transport work is included only where stated. Additional paid work is agreed before it is undertaken. The advertised apostille service is €245 including DHL Express return. The accepted documents, required preparation and total for a multi-document request are confirmed before payment. Payment arrangements are confirmed separately before paid work starts.
Timing and decisions
Authority decisions, receiving-organisation requirements and transport conditions affect the process. An estimate is not an unconditional guarantee of a particular stamp, acceptance abroad or delivery date. We perform the agreed work with reasonable care and skill and explain relevant dependencies.
Consumer withdrawal
For consumers entering a distance service contract, a 14-day withdrawal right generally applies from conclusion of the service agreement, subject to the relevant legal rules. The required information and withdrawal form must be supplied in a durable format before contracting.
If you expressly request work to begin during that period, a proportionate amount for work supplied may be payable where the legal conditions are met. Loss of the withdrawal right after full performance requires the relevant prior express consent and acknowledgement. Merely using this website or accepting general terms is not such a request or acknowledgement.
Changes, cancellation and refunds
Tell us promptly if your plans change. Charges or refunds are assessed against the agreed scope, work already performed and applicable mandatory rights. These terms do not impose a blanket non-refundable fee. Any relevant separate third-party or delivery costs are addressed in the agreement and under applicable law.
Delivery and questions
Collection or return arrangements are agreed for the case. A tracking reference is supplied where tracked delivery is included. Contact info@danishapostille.com with a question or complaint, identifying your service reference and the issue. Applicable rights to complain to a competent dispute-resolution body remain unchanged; the relevant route and eligibility information must be confirmed in the final contracting documents.
